What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
It’s just been with me ever since I remember and I started playing at 4 and I fell in love with it.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
Back in high school making school history my junior year rushing for 2,000 yards and catching the ball lined up everywhere and also playing kick returner and just the college experience itself.
What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?
Being able to show I can play at an NFL level and being able to showcase my talents on the field and on special teams as well.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?
Sean Taylor, he was an outstanding player on defense and I would love to see what his mentality was and how he went through the NFL.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
My mom, she’s a very independent woman that’s taught me alot and that helped me go off to college and be in the real world.
What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?
Spread offense, because it can get electrifying players out in space and on the perimeter.
What should we know about Johnnie Lang the person?
He has great character, is very accountable, is a guy that has great integrity and leadership and is hardworking.
What stands out about your film the most?
I’m an athletic type running back I can hit the home run and play special teams and catch the ball and I think that’s what sets me apart from other running backs in this draft class.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
I embrace any challenge because I faced adversity young, so I’m mature and just face them head on and weather the storm.
What would a team get in a player like you?
Great leadership, great teammate, hard worker and someone who holds themself accountable.
What do you love the most about the game of football?
I love feelings of scoring touchdowns and the atmosphere of sold out games like I hope to be in the Super Bowl being at those games make you feel that all the hard work has been cherished.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
Isheem Young, I’ve seen him go through adversity and he almost had the game taken away from him and he’s out there proving people wrong and has used that for motivation.
