What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
My mom put me in football when I was 6 years old and I have loved the game ever since. The adrenaline you get from making big plays and scoring touchdowns is like nothing else I have ever experienced. Therefore, I knew I wanted to experience the game at the highest level.
What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?
I hope to improve in every aspect of my game as well as learn as much about the mental side of the game as possible. I also want to take my game to the highest level and win games and championships.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?
It would have to be Aaron Rodgers. I would ask him a lot of questions about his mechanics and his approach to the game. Because he is the best thrower of the football we’ve seen in my opinion and I hope to reach that level or higher one day.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
My favorite moments would have to be winning championships in peewee football and prep school. I would also say anytime I threw a touchdown is a very special moment for me and I can remember most of them still to this day.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
My little brother inspires me the most. I hope to become as successful as possible in my life so that I can always provide him with everything he needs no matter the circumstances.
What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?
My favorite offensive scheme would be a pro-style offense. I was able to run that type of offense for 5 of my 6 years of college. It is not an easy offense to learn but once you understand what is going on within the offense it provides a lot of answers to situations to help a quarterback throughout the game.
What should we know about Henry Ogala the person?
I’m just a hard working guy who is looking to make a name for himself. My intentions with anyone I meet will always be pure. I come off as very chill and maybe nonchalant but believe me when I say there is a fire inside of me that pushes me everyday in everything I do.
What stands out about your film the most?
In my film you can see a quarterback who is willing to stand in the pocket and take hits while still delivering the ball as well as my ability to drive the ball to all areas of the field.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
I’m able to handle challenge by always being optimistic. I believe everything always happens for a reason and nothing is ever as bad as it seems or as good as it seems. So I take everything for what it is and continue to try my best to live my life the best possible way.
What would a team get in a player like you?
They are going to get a hard working and relentless player. Who will not stop until he has accomplished his desired goals. There going to get a great teammate who only cares about winning and is focused and committed to his team and perfecting his craft.
What do you love the most about the game of football?
What I love about the game of football is the many different aspects that affect whether or not a player is good or whether or not a team is good. I love how everyone is different but comes together for a common goal and I love how you can compete to find out who is the best and still learn from each other at the same time.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
Jake Deativeaux is the most underrated player I have played with. He is one of the hardest workers I know and is dedicated to his craft like no other. He puts it all on the line every game to help our team win.
