What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2023 NFL Draft?
I have instincts in the run and can cover well. I have the ability to play outside linebacker and safety.
At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?
At 7 years old.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
That I’m willing to do what the team needs me to do. Filling the role that they assign and excel at it at a high level.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
World hunger because we have enough to feed everyone but food gets wasted whether it’s a restaurant or at a store.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
To be the best man I can be. The rest will take care of itself.
Who was your childhood hero?
My cousin. He showed me how to be a man and introduced me to multiple sports.
Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?
Josiah Hedenstein. Tough kid who plays his heart out and plays out of position.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
Ha, do not crowd my personal space.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
Losing a full ride to go D1 and realizing that I have to ball out at a d2. It taught me that I can do things no matter the situation. Just have to work hard to get it.
Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?
I feel like my school has a bunch of talent that gets overlooked we just got to put the pieces together.
What is your favorite snack food?
Fruit smiles fruit snacks from Walmart.
What is the best part of football?
Studying the tendencies of offenses, understanding route concepts, and run blocking schemes allow you to play fast. The ability to understand the movements in football to be more agile, strong, and fast is also a thing that I like.
If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?
I can contribute in many different ways and I’m a reliable player.
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?
Pete Werner, has a knack for the ball and has good coverage as well. With help of a veteran I can become very special. Similar to him and Demario Davis.
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
Tyrann Mathieu has gone through adversity and is a high-IQ player that is obsessed with technique! Marshawn Lynch may be my favorite person of all time. He’s always himself and was a dominant RB. Lebron James because he is a process guy who does everything to be the best and is a good man who gives to the world.
